A Word From The Artist
I reside in a small community in Illinois, with a beautiful view of the Mississippi River. There I have
developed my skills in photography to include many facets.

I have been studying the art of photography for over eighteen years. Photography has a variety of fields in
which to learn. I began studying with the New York Institute of Photography. I continued my educaton at
both Scott Community College and Black Hawk College. During these three years, I focused on the art of
portraits on a daily basis. Next, I focused on photographing floral and plant life for three years. Followed by
photographing pets and horses for five years. I also have four year of experience in developing labs and color
technology, as well as knowledge of digital enhancement and corrections.

I have received the following professional recognition awards:

> Photographer's Forum Magazine International Award
(placed 86th out of 21,500 participants in 2002-2003 competition)
> The Quad Cities Butterworth Center Photographer's Slide Club
(placed 1st and 2nd in 1996 annual competition)
>The Army Corp. of Engineers Annual Photography Competition
(placed 2nd and 3rd in 1995)

I have also received a variety of amateur photography awards throughout the years.

I take pride in being an active member in my community, by utilizing my talents in photography. I
thoroughly enjoy teaching others about this captivating form of art. I currently teach classes at the Cordova
Libaray wih a grant from the Quad Ciy Art Association.

My work in photography is extremely versatile. I am certified to photograph crime scenes for both the fire
and police departments in my area. I have supported these authorities for over seven years.

Weddings are also an important part of photography that touches many lives. I have a unique style of
photography that captures these precious moments so my customers can cherish them for a lifetime.

Currently my work is at North Park Mall in Davenport, IA.

I truly hope you will enjoy my web pages. Please visit again and again to see the changes.

Sincerely,
